fine food for the whole family |

Bistro 67 was taken over in December 2008 by Gareth Jones and continues to build on the example set by the previous owner George Holdsworth, who has left a lasting culinary legacy. Gareth has decided that if it "ain't broke don't fix it", so has kept a similar popular daily menu, which is ideal if you are looking for a quick snack or something more substantial. The special boards are still in place which offers somthing for everyone and an expansive vegetarian option and with new head chef Andy Banfield firmly settled, the theme is still Good Home Cooked Food at reasonable prices. The dessert menu still offers a fantastic choice and is available any time of day.
The restaurant itself is best described as non-fussy and has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and in the words of a recent food critic so laid back it's almost vertical. That's not to say that it doesn't get busy and at peak times to avoid disappointment it's best to pre-book.
We are open Sunday's for lunch, this has become very popular as an alternative to a boring Sunday Carvery although you can still have the roast of the day if that's what you'd like!
The restaurant is family and dog friendly and is ideally situated halfway up the hill in Totnes just before the clock tower, and is available for parties and celebrations all year round.
