George Holdsworth has established Bistro 67 as a quality restaurant serving fantastic food made from the finest and freshest ingredients. His home-cooked hearty cuisine is accompanied by an immense dessert menu, a wide selection of fine wines, great service and a great atmosphere.
Having initially trained as a chef in the RAF followed by working as a chef on the QE2, George has built up 24 years experience in the catering industry. He took over Bistro 67 in November 2006 which brought him back home to Totnes where his family goes back generations; his grandfather was the Mayor of Totnes in 1936; and his uncles and aunts have always lived locally.
George bought his 1st Gastro Pub in 1991 in Berkshire successfully turning a dilapidated pub business into a thriving restaurant. Since then George has had repeated success with his restaurant ventures including 7 triumphant years in Kingsbridge.
Bistro 67 is a comfortable relaxed restaurant where everybody is welcome to enjoy George’s sumptuous cooking, whether it be a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or a quick bite to eat.
In addition to all this you can enjoy your Bistro 67 experience surrounded by art work created by established artist James Holdsworth, George's bother.
